I have got good communication skills. I have initiative and I am good with problem solving. I am a good listener and a people-person. I am organised, committed and good with decision making. I am a responsible, loyal and creative person. I graduated in November 2017 from The Hurst Campus in the Western Cape with a 3 year Hospitality Management Diploma. It included everything from cheffing to financial management, human resources and marketing. I graduated at the top of my class with distinction and also received the award of excellence for the best overall student. During my studies, I completed two internships. The first one was a kitchen internship, which I did at Schoon, an artisan bakery in Stellenbosch. The second one was a front of house internship at Brasserie de Paris, a French restaurant in Pretoria. Both internships were 4 months long. I also completed 500 working hours in the hospitality industry during my studies, where I worked all over the industry and at multiple events. At the beginning of 2018, I assisted Jonno Proudfoot in the writing of his new cookbook for the Real Meal Food Revolution. I recently represented South Africa for 3 months at the Institut Paul Bocuse in Lyon as a part of their Worldwide Alliance. I am currently working as a Financial Administrator for a whole-sale diesel company in Pretoria as well as a Food and Beverage Operations Manager for a catering company.
