I have worked in various roles in the IT and Project management space for the last 21 years at MultiChoice. I started my career as a Business Analyst in the IT department. I then ran the six sigma program for MultiChoice, using statistical data analysis methods to determine solutions to business problems. I was then head hunted by the strategy department as a business architect, heading up Business Owners Council that analyzed and approved all new business ideas and systems. Thereafter, I established a Business Architecture practice within MultiChoice, using Casewise to map our enterprise architecture. I was head of the business analysis team, and the lead for business requirements for a new subscriber management system. At the same time, i set up the continuous improvement team, that used process analysis to improve our customer processes. My final position was as Senior Manager in the Project Office. I led a team of 14 business analysts and project managers (a combined role). In addition to my line manager duties, I created a bespoke project management methodology for MultiChoice based on PMBOK and Agile principles. I also introduced a unique approach to business analysis that used customer experience design to inform business requirements. I am a certified customer experience master. My role included the demand management portfolio, which led the sprint planning for all projects and requirements. One of my major achievements in this role was that I created the annual plan for all business projects for IT including budget planning and tracking. I love technology, learning new things and seeing people learn and grow. My life motto is "Everything is possible".
