I am communications manager at SuperSport, Africa's biggest broadcaster of sport. I was previously sports editor of the Sunday Times, having earlier written on a range of sport (rugby, boxing, athletics, Olympics). In 2000, I was named South Africa's Sports Writer of the Year. I have had two books published, most recently 'Guns and Needles' (2022) on the scourge of steroids in South Africa.
