I am a mature young man of 37 years who has over 13 years of experience in the Mining industry having held multiple supervisory positions. I hold a diploma in Mining Engineering obtained from the University of Botswana. I also possess a Surface & Underground Blasting licenses, First Aid certificate (expired), Miner In Charge Certificate, ShiftBoss certificate and five different Diesel Machine (Plant) Operator certificates of competency. The job positions that I have obtained through my career range from Blaster, Miner in Charge, Shift Boss, and Pit Overseer to Quarry Manager. Proper execution of my duties and responsibilities throughout my career have been strongly dependent on good planning (liaison with HR/admin, top management, sub-contractors, Safety personnel & government officials), leading, execution (liaison with maintenance crew), and supervision. I am a self-driven individual who enjoys team work and is result oriented. I thrive in exceeding production targets in the most economic (below budget) and safest manner.
