I have worked in communications for over 20 years as a senior director and owner of a successful agency that won multiple awards. I set up and grew my own communications and marketing consultancy, von H Brand Provocateur (vonH) from 2009 onwards. At its peak, von H Brand Provocateur was a 15-person agency with a turnover in excess of R10 million that generating awards in different categories each year. VonH provided businesses, brands and products with communication tools to assist in turning client investments into profitable and high growth environments. My core competency is in the development & activation of marketing strategies and measures (that track the outcome of these strategies) alongside working and leading a team in the creation of beautiful work and innovative activations. In 2017, I partnered my business in the creation of Swift Thinking – an empowered Digital Agency. Swift Thinking delivered creative digital business & marketing solutions that optimise user experience and transactional behaviour. Some of the projects I was involved with include Primedia, Biza, Melrose Arch and South African Tourism. I have a rich and diverse portfolio with my career path including DDB, Ogilvy and HKLM/Switch Designs. In that time I worked on brands such as SAB, Unilevers, Coca Cola, RMB, Citibank, Nedbank, Investec, Famous Brands, Energiser Batteries, Nkosi’s Haven, AA, Aspen, Johnson & Johnson, Coca Cola, Famous Brands, IBM, and Total. From 2009 and the launch of vonH, my portfolio includes Redefine, Liberty, Hyprop, Primemedia, Anaprop, Fedgroup, FMI, Park Hyatt Dubai, Toto New York, Deloitte, Accenture, Investment Solutions, SBV and many more. In the retail shopping environments – both locally and internationally. I rebranded Hyde Park, Brooklyn Mall, Centurion, East Rand Mall to name a few. I am an expert at developing and nurturing client relationships to potentially harvest to their fullest. Outside of my profession, I enjoy exercising, music, cooking and gardening.
