I am a well seasoned HSE Risk Director and business consultant with over 39 years of commercial experience across Southern Africa and the Middle East. During my HSE career I also qualified myself within Business, with a focus on marketing, leadership, human resources and project management. I have experience within construction, mining, engineering, transport, aviation, ports, and energy and many more sectors. The spectrum of my HSE experience spans behavioral safety, process safety, occupational health and safety strategy development, management system alignment and has solid lean project methodologies. Within business, I am experienced in organizational strategy, marketing, organizational change management as well as leadership, HR and project management. I have a passion for coaching and mentoring, especially young HSE professionals and small business entities. I am able to effectively communicate within all levels of an organization and understands the value of effective communication within the business world. I understand the most important basics of business and how to turn people into the competitive advantage by implementing effective leaderships strategies which would ensure the maximum effort by teams, leading to improved business and successful completion of organizational goals.
