In my current role as an intern at the Department of Higher Education and Training i am in the call centre and clients service directorate. The efficiency of the office was well planned and free to move around. I set and oversee goals according to work load the directorate gave me to execute. Last year, I worked with our IT, Communication departments and Clients NfinityX Service provider to implement a communication system of newsflash to ensure that all departments were adequately staffed and well informed with both internal and external affairs at all times through the corridors monitor screens. With our new online communication portal, we increased communication efficiency by 70% to both internal and external stakeholders. To keep updated with the user interface we had quarterly training with the service provider. In my role, I also facilitated in the campaigns of the department for bogus colleges awareness to the communities in different provinces. I’ve been really enjoying that part of my work and I’m especially interested in bringing the experience I’ve gained as well as my commitment to efficiency to the team at i will be working with. Outside of the office, I’m a Music Artist (DJ), carpenter and I love to play volleyball. On weekends, you might find me at the local Social Markets or exploring Street Market events in the area.
