I finished my Master’s Degree in 2013, with my dissertation focusing on ‘The relationship between coping strategies and resilience processes within children’. After this degree I did my Research Internship at Optentia Focus Area (North West University – Vaal Triangle Campus), with the primary focus on ‘Youth well-being’ as well as ‘Youth flourishing’. This internship included several research related aspects and activities. After which I was employed at North West University – Vaal Triangle Campus – as a lecturer. I was employed at Eduvos since 2014 to 2021, where I was responsible for lecturing several psychology modules throughout the year. I am currently the Senior Assessment Manager at MANCOSA. I possess several research skills, such as proposal writing, project management, budgeting, as well as data capturing and analysis. I have adequate skills in quantitative as well as qualitative research. At Eduvos I served on two ethical committees (Potchefstroom campus / Vanderbijlpark Campus), and I was the Supervisor for 3rd year BCom students as well as 4th year BPsych students. In my employment at Eduvos / MANCOSA I was a dedicated lecturer of seven modules per semester. Furthermore, I always strive to provide high quality tertiary education and I am a passionate academic. I perceive myself as having a strong personality, and I am very results driven with regard to my daily activities. I function well under pressure and that I can elicit the necessary leadership skills where required. I am also very passionate about the field of research and I possess the needed skills within this field. I have strong presentation skills together with a high level of technological expertise.
