With my 8 years’ experience as a mechanical fitter in a heavy engineering workshop, I have acquired a broad spectrum of skills within the engineering industry. I have worked myself up from a fitter apprentice to a trade qualified fitter, leading an assembly team, we strip, quote, and rebuild various mine, heavy machinery and farming equipment at a high standard. As team leader I take the health and safety of my team and workplace very seriously, to ensure everyone goes home to their families, happy and safe.  I work with short deadlines and this makes regular maintenance a must, it is crucial to ensure minimum downtime of machinery and hand tools, keeping log of machinery failures, implementing preventative measures and regular servicing. I don’t mind working myself up from an entry level position and prove to you I am a loyal and hardworking employee.
