Fallo Happy Khanye is a joint PhD researcher at University of Western Cape and Ghent University. He completed his master's degree in Statistical Science with a specialization in Data Science and successfully completed a first semester project with his partner for Samsung Innovation Lab, which is part of Western Cape CoLab by building an interactive Power BI dashboard. He completed his second semester project with Media, Innovation, and Communication Technology research group at Ghent University that is part of Interuniversity Microelectronics Centre (imec-mict-ugent) and successfully created a reusable Python script to explore the location information of the mobileDNA application which won best short paper in NEMISA 2023 Digital Skills Colloquium. Fallo Happy Khanye completed his undergraduate degree in Mathematical and Statistical Science at the University of the Western Cape in 2019. After finishing his undergraduate degree in 2019, he joined BestMed Medical Scheme as a finance intern until January 2021. He also studied at the University of the Free State, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Honours degree with distinction in Risk Analysis in 2021. He is competent in a variety of modern technologies such as R, Excel, Power BI, Python, and SAS. Fallo Happy Khanye was born in the small township of Katlehong in Gauteng. He attended Sonqoba Primary School before moving on to Sijabulile Secondary School, where he was chosen to be a member of the Kutlwanong Maths, Science, and Technology Centre. In his spare time, he enjoys cricket, soccer, cooking, and spending time with his family.
