I would like to submit myself as the MOST suitable candidate based on my vast experience, amazing Can-do attitude and willingness to always learn so that I may always be UPSCALED and RELEVANT to the company. Being from a previously dis-advantaged background; the course of my life hindered on how to study and learn quickly. Which led to my choices, once I completed my Matric, I completed a diploma ****@*****.*** of Learning – Girl Friday Course, then completed a Storeman's course (short course) also at Academy of Learning, with a distinction in both. This enabled me to earn a marketable rated salary and led me on a journey of upskilling my skills with each job. Starting as a Data Capturer, to Debtors Controller; to Creditors Controller, to Personal Assistant to Office Manager with a Crewing Agency, whereby I was once again was given an opportunity to broaden my horizons, and I closed a deal with Film Afrika whereby I negotiated a deal to have the entire wardrobe department for THE KISSING BOOTH 1 (2017). I have through experience built up various skills: Co-ordination – currently coordinating BA1/2/3 practical projects; to ensure that each project is completed within the given time frames. Organizational commitment – in the last two years based in the BA Film & Television Department, I have successfully managed the filing system online as well as all manual documentation, so that it is not only accessible when I am in office, but also when I’m on “shoots with students”; with the “each one teach one ethic”. Since being employed here at City Varsity, I have completed a Digital Video Editing Short Courses – with a 70% aggregate, TEFL Certificate with a Distinction; Invigilator/Facilitator/Assessor/Moderator courses with Damelin (Awaiting results, but received notification that I have been found competent) to enable me to upscale my-self further towards a Degree and beyond. Due to financial constraints, I could only afford to do free financed courses, but as per my results above, I am an avid student who has high standards. In the new year, my plan is to have myself formally assed so I may work towards a degree in Business Management.
