I am a civil engineer in Zutari’s (formerly Aurecon) Cape Town office, where I am involved in civil infrastructure related projects. I am involved in projects that include bulk earthworks/sewer/water/roads and stormwater designs, where I have taken lead of proposals, costing, designs, and reporting. My responsibilities also include data analysis, team lead with supervision of junior staff, site supervision and client/stakeholder engagement. I have been involved in various land infrastructure projects located in South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, UAE, Malawi, Namibia and Nigeria. I hold a BSc degree in Civil Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, currently registered as a candidate engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and is an associate member of the South African Institution of Civil Engineering (SAICE). I am working towards my http://www.******.*** hoping to submit by the end of the year. I was the former Chair of the Emerging Professionals Committee in the Cape town Office which aims to grow and sustain a dynamic culture in the office, promote eminence and foster innovation and digitization across emerging professionals. I am still a member of the committee, where I offer support to graduates and junior engineers as they begin their careers as engineers. I am also a part of the Innovation Committee, an enthusiastic agent of change, which aims to make a future ready company.
