I am currently in my final year of Electro-Mechanical Engineering at UCT and I am required to do 2 vacation work/in-service training with an Engineering firm before graduation. The first vacation work is for a minimum of 4 weeks or 2 weeks (with a structured program) where I have to do welding, fitting and turning among others. The second vacation work is for a minimum of 6 weeks where I have to be involved with the operation and maintenance of a plant and/or work on a design project under supervision. Without this experience, I will not be allowed to graduate. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated
