I am in possession of Trade Diploma , T4 Heavy current , Licenced Master installation Electrician, and Govt Cert of Competency.. Career commenced as Apprentice Electrician with Eskom . Resigned as the Production Manager of the Drakensberg Scheme. Since then Worked for Rainbow Farms as Engineering Manager. Worked in Malawi with Illovo on both the Malawi mills as Electrical Engineer Worked in Nigeria as Engineering Manager Electrical and Instrumentation on the Sunti Mill Build Spent a short period at Welkait in Ethiopia as Electrical Consultant on the Welkait build Finally spent a further short period with Ramu Sugar in Papua New Guinea Managing a complete retrofit of the Power House Switchgear. This included 2 0ff 2MW turbo alternators and two of 1MW Diesel Generators with Automated Start up, Synchronising , and load sharing. Have always been involved with interface with associated engineering disciplines as they are never stand alone. My passion is to be on site "At the coal face" rather than in the office.
