I started my development career in 1989 with Cobol, then progressed to AS400 after 6 years. I then worked on a project to implement Cognos in Nedbank. After which, I worked in the Cognos Support area for 7 years and was responsible for the SQL development, using stored procedures and SSIS to accomplish many tasks, also creating an interface between the Cognos products (Controller and CEP), using SQL. I was then requested to move onto the Excel VBA team to assist with the development of their automated tasks. Nedbank then started a project to implement SAP 10.1 to replace Cognos. I was asked to join the project team to implement SAP. After assisting with many project related analysis and data transformations, I then had an opportunity to get involved in SAP Data Services. After the SAP Data Services training, this became my responsibility until I decided to venture into the world of contracting in July 2017. I have since then been involved in Converting SAGE data tables into Intelligent SQL solutions.
