I am George Reneke, at Retirement Age, but Fully Capable and Operational in my Field of Work. Below is what I can do for Clients: 1. Preparing Working Drawings – Concrete and Reinforcing – of the following: All types of Foundations (Mining, Industrial, Chemical etc.); Retaining Walls; Ground Floor Slabs and Surface Beds; Ground Beams; Suspended Floor Slabs and Beams; Road and Railway Culverts; Water Storage Tanks; Ore Silos; Pile Caps; Plinths; Columns; Coffer Slabs; Hollow Block Floor Slabs; Storm Water Culverts; Sumps and Pits; Piling; Stairs; Bridges (VKE JHB). All of these include Multi-Storey Office Blocks, Mining Infrastructure and other associated Structures. 2. Architectural Layouts, Sections, Elevations and associated Details. 3. Preparing Working Drawings for Site Services (Stormwater, Sewer, Electrical etc.), Co-ordination and Details. I have also done some Roads Layouts and Details, although not to a great extent, seeing it was handled by “Specialists” in whatever Company I worked on it. I also did some Layouts and Details of Dams (Evaporation; Run-Off etc…), also not to a great extent, for the same reason as mentioned for Roads Layouts. 4. Structural Steel Layouts and Details for Walkways, Various Platforms, Stairs, Warehouses, Crawl Beams, Substations. 5. I use AutoCAD (up to Version 2024) and Rebarmate All Versions. I have recently completed a Course in ProBar 2D Reinforcing. My experience also includes inspection of Reinforcement Fixing on both local and out-of-town sites; and measuring up for As-Built Drawings.
