Good day, I started my career as an Instrumentation learrner Technician at ArcelorMittal in 1991. I worked my way up to the Manager Control and Instrumentation ArcelorMittal Vanderbijlpark Engineering and Infrastructure and was in this position for about 10 years. I did various projects during this time which includes the upgrade, replacement and new installation of control systems at two power plants, a Boiler house and various water plants. I left ArcelorMittal in 2015 and went to NJCSI an ABB system integrator. I did various projects on the ABB Freelance and 800cA systems. In 2017 I returned to ArcelorMittal and was appointed as a Senior Engineer control systems. I am responsible for maintaining all of the Engineering and Infrastructure divisions control and instrumentation systems. I am also responsible for all control related projects and changes to any system hardware and software.
