Introduction Helder is an enthusiastic, ambitious and experienced senior executive with several years of leadership, turnaround and change experience in both the Banking and FMCG/Manufacturing industry. By constantly looking for challenges throughout his career, Helder has accumulated over 15 months of CEO experience in addition to approximately 10 years as CFO and Board member. Helder drove BancABC to profitability as CFO and then CEO delivering key channels and platforms, as well as projects, treasury, regulatory and critical staff hires. Helder had previously turned Barclays Mozambique to profitability while also driving the Barclays Values as CEO in Mozambique and delivering step changes in projects, treasury, regulatory, staff and overall performance, as both CEO and CFO. Helder has demonstrated the ability to leverage his experience and critical thinking to find out-of-the-box solutions to operational and strategic issues facing his businesses. He is highly adaptable and has made peace with ambiguity and imperfect information. For his next challenge, Helder is looking for an Exco level role where he can influence and contribute to the culture of the organisation in Banking or Industry.
