I enjoy problem solving as well, and this is a skill which I will bring to any work that I do. I have a year of experience in Dubbing at AEMG (Africa Enterprise Media Group) Studios. During my time at AEMG my main responsibility was the recording of voice artists. I really enjoyed working with a lot of different people with a lot of different backgrounds and different levels of experience. I believe that one of my strengths is easily connecting with people. An additional element of my job was on-the-fly adaptations of scripts to ensure understandability and clarity of what was being said. I do pride myself on the quality of my work and always strive to produce the best quality that I can. Another important part of my job required me to manage deadlines by prioritizing the work that the specific voice artist needed to get through and ensuring that I always knew which content was most important at all times. I always made sure that both myself and the artists met the deadlines given to us. I was also lucky enough to gain some experience in working on film production through an opportunity I was given earlier in the year with WYRD Films. I gained some on-set booming and sound monitoring experience during this, as well as an appreciation of the work that is carried on behind-the-scenes of production. This is something which greatly interests me. I am hoping that your company will have a work opportunity for me where I can make use of the skills which I have gained in my degree, and my various work experience, as well as equip me with new challenges and skills for the future. I am constantly surprised by how versatile sound engineering is and how many different opportunities there are in the industry and I am willing to pursue any opportunities that you may have available for me. I have attached my CV to this mail as well as my contact details. Please feel free to send me a mail or give me a call if you would like to meet me in person or set up an interview.
