HUGH FARRELL Hugh Farrell has been involved in Sales, marketing, education and communication in Southern Africa for over 25 years. His ability and talent in Sales Marketing and Presentations has given him high exposure to all levels of management in Education, broadcasting and business development and training. His natural creative talent for managing and getting people to pay attention to what he is presenting and saying is excellent as are his people skills and ability to read audiences and situations spontaneously. His overall business management skills are very good with excellent track records at M-Net (K-TV); Ster-Kinekor Theatres and Red Cherry Media Holdings: K-TV created an Airtime and Sponsorship package which made the TV Channel 2nd largest Airtime income generator at M-Net. Ster-Kinekor structured the Theatre Division to launch digital cinema and modified operations to ensure better returns per Cinema Complex. Bought Red Cherry TV and restructured the Company into Red Cherry Media Holdings with interactive Media Brands, reality shows such as Popstars and CSR Initiatives such as Touch Africa and Boksmart Rugby safety coaching. Hugh can adapt to different levels of business and identify areas where improvements are needed. Hugh then has the unique sales ability to make his audience see the benefits of what he is presenting. He has vast experience in FMCG consumer products , Industrial products and Casino marketing. Hugh Farrell has represented South Africa at the Highest level and was a key person in assisting the draft of the edutainment input the Broadcasting to Youth in Africa Charter which was concluded at Royal West Minster and was involved in extensive roll outs in the SADC region with the SA Government .
