Thank you for taking the time viewing my application. My name is Ismaeel Grant currently residing in Cape Town South Africa. I am a product of my beautiful country and am in awe of her natural beauty. South Africa is my home. Completed my studies in 2003 at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology where I received my national diploma. I then started my journey as a designer/ DTP operator and have worked in both the United Kingdom and South Africa. My skill-set and work experience have grown since then. Increased interest to learn all about the processes involved to plan, develop and produce high standard relevant assets according to the communicated brief, a Project Manager with a creative background. Because of my diverse background, varied skill-set and work experience, I see myself as a hybrid. A new breed of Project Manager with a background of working in all areas of the creative industry and a hands-on experience of facilitating the production of various projects. An added advantage of having a realistic approach to all projects before starting any planning or development. More importantly, an open relationship with all involved, from the client to the team, adding value to approaching and solving the communicated brief. The mantra, together we tackle the given brief to deliver at a high standard, on time and within budget. Currently, offer project management and creative services. I am the Project Manager and Production Manager for Grootbos, a private nature reserve in the Overberg. Also, I am responsible for Project Management, Creative Producer, Social Media Management and Marketing for both Make-up Stars Cape Town and Salty Misfit. Over the years have developed a formula of confirming the project budget and having an open channel of communication with all involved before discussing or brainstorming any project requirement.
