In my last position I worked as a Business Consultant and my responsibilities were as follows: - Develop and align our strategy with our annual budgets as well as our annual incentives, i.e. core business and key performance areas; - Fully utilise electronic diaries and book recurring appointments in advance; - Develop and maintain relationships with our product suppliers and banks in our areas; - Develop and maintain relationships with internal support staff; - Coherently communicate new concepts/service offering to all levels of a dealership, including the MD, DP, SMs, SP, FMs, and Franchise Directors; - Ask for references for new business; - Research potential clients' current product providers and bank relationships, etc.; - Hunt and close new business; - Complete all documentation accurately, e.g. New User Forms and New Dealer Take-on Sheets; - Manage expectations of all clients; - Monitor progress and check the site before training; - Give regular input to enhance our platform and our offering to our clients; - Manage cash flow/outstanding debtors; - Maintain existing clients; - Ongoing management of every site, with products (including generic products, bank products, core products) & product rationalization; - Monitor individual branch system usage and DOC's; - Identify non-performers; - Drive all our core revenue streams into our business, including VAPs inception, electronic finance application, insurance leads, e-docs conversion, and product lead generator; - Drive additional revenue streams like Zest Life, Mobility club revenue; - Automate selected reports for Business Managers, Sales Managers, DP's, Franchise Directors, Financial Managers, Regional F&I Managers at the appropriate intervals; - Successfully command the consulting and performance management process in terms of APL and monthly reviews; - Identify opportunities to maximize profit, constantly identify opportunities to commercialise our offerings into the dealerships; - Have specific authorization (being found competent), to go ahead on your own in the specific areas of System Training, F&I Monthly Reviews, F&I APL's, and New Business Acquisition; - Until you have the specific authorization you will not have clearance to deliver any of the following on your own: System training, F&I Monthly Reviews, F&I APLs or New Business Acquisition; - Give feedback to clients with detailed action plan after every meeting; - Preparation for APLs and Reviews with previous quarters’ and month’s performance, dealer, industry averages and top 20%; - Have and acquire ongoing industry knowledge and benchmarking information; - Share best practice with dealers; - Constantly know our competitor/opposition offering, movements, strategy; - Effectively identify areas of risk; - Train System, and Reports, F&I Process, Selling Skills, Generic product knowledge, on being the trusted advisor; - Attend and participate in internal best practice and strategy meetings to up skill ourselves; - Attend personal reviews as set up by management; - Be aware of all company policy and procedure and code of ethics; - Attend to General Admin and Preparation; - Respond to e-mails timeously. Due to company restructuring I was retrenched, and therefor I am available with immediate effect. I am looking for a new challenge, and I am willing to learn and grow.
