I was born and raised in Klerksdorp in the North West province of South Africa. I attended Hoërskool Wesvalia where I was given the opportunity to serve for 4 years on the Student Representative Council and in my final year, I was elected to be the Head of the Sports Council. During my school years I also played tennis, rugby, cricket and chess. I went on to study BSc Computer Science at The University of Cape Town (UCT) where I was elected onto the House Committee of my UCT residence, Varietas, as the IT, Safety and Maintenance representative. I was also elected onto the Residence Council of UCT as the Secretary General of the IT Forum. I had the privilege of being introduced to multiple cultural and ethnically diverse groups at the University of Cape Town, especially during my leadership roles. I had to learn to accommodate a wide variety of people and personalities from all over the world. These opportunities have trained me to use my time efficiently and manage a large amount of people and responsibilities. I am a very punctual person and take pride in having things done properly.
