To provide leadership to a maintenance team and to manage the maintenance of a portfolio of properties including including the equipment and server rooms they host. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the the maintenance of; H-VAC, Lifts&Escalators, Fire detection and suppression systems, Plumbing, Electrical, UPS system and Backup generators, General Building maintenance & Alterations. Furthermore as the Building manager of the Eskom, Western Cape Head office responsibilities also include ensuring that all systems and functions hosted within the building are able to operate on a 24/7 basis. In addition, through strategic planning, identified capital projects up to a value of R 30 Million rand each are driven through the commercial process, after which the project is managed throughout its life-cycle .
