I have a remarkable story to tell—one that reflects resilience, growth, and the pursuit of opportunity. I was born in Kimberley, a city steeped in the history of South Africa’s Northern Cape province. Growing up in Britstown, a small, close-knit town, I was shaped by a sense of community and simplicity. These early years taught me the importance of connection and hard work, values I carried with me as I grew. My journey led me to De Aar, where I completed my high school education. Eager to build a future, I moved to Pretoria in 2014, driven by the promise of new opportunities. My first role in this bustling city was at OK Grocer, where I worked diligently until the end of 2015. This experience deepened my understanding of responsibility and adaptability—qualities essential for the path I was carving out. In 2016, I found a new home in Kempton Park, where I've spent the last several years building both my life and career. My professional journey took a significant turn when I joined Kaleideo Church as an Administrative Assistant. This role allowed me to connect with the community on a deeper level and laid the foundation for further growth. In 2022, I stepped into the role of Project Manager, a position I held until August 2024. This chapter allowed me to contribute to meaningful projects, develop leadership skills, and broaden my impact within the community. From Kimberley to Kempton Park, each step has been a chapter of discovery, growth, and purpose. Looking back, I see how each experience has built upon the last, shaping not only my career but also the person I am today.
