I am an entrepreneur, pioneer and innovator who successfully introduced, cultivated and marketed Tea in South Africa via Lady Bonin's Tea. This not only put tea on the map locally and abroad, but created waves of change in the agricultural industry via the impact models and sustainability practices I initiated. I was awarded Female Entrepreneur of the Year by the South African Department of Agriculture, was a Fairlady Women of the Future finalist, Cape Talk Small Business Runner Up and Cap40 Young Entrepreneur of the Year Runner up, among other accolades. I am driven by sustainable value systems and objectives. I set out to do business differently and that resulted in me building an Impact Business that aligned its value systems with its profits, ensuring not only resource accountability, but that ethical values were implemented into every avenue of business. I strive to create optimal systems through evolved thinking. I believe that business serves more than just its shareholders; it serves its community too. My approach to business is to ensure value is spread across all links in the chain. I focus on bridging the gap between entrepreneurs and their stakeholders, thus regulating expectation, navigating outputs, strategising implementation and driving harmonised success.
