I am an experienced senior retail manager with proven results in strategic development, Sales management, key account management and operational and service delivery. I am currently a National Strategic Development Manager. As the National Strategic Development Manager, I lead our operational in store technology, ensuring the national sales team are aligned on key objectives, are empowered to focus on service delivery and have an informed view on areas such as stock availability and areas of concerns within their area of responsibility. As part of this role I also manage our Kronos biometrics department nationally as part of our key client management partnership as well as our retail support team, furthermore, I manage new operations projects, budgeting, processes and procedures. As Strategic Development Manager, I’ve led the set-up of two online warehouses and logistics teams. This included recruiting, coaching and training of warehouse staff, driving staff. I managed all interviews, job descriptions, objectives, employment contracts, policies, procedures and day to day operations. I successfully managed this project since February 2015 and received the Michael J Terensky-award for performance excellence. I started my career in the retail industry in 2010 as a Sales representative managing 50 instore staff. I was promoted to junior regional sales manager in 2011 managing part of the inland region and working closely with my regional manager. In 2012, I was promoted to Regional Manager for the inland region managing 8 Sales representative and the day to day service delivery and operations and in 2015, I was promoted to senior management taking on the role as the National Strategic Development Manager reporting directly to our Senior Operations Director.
