I have experience in the supply and maintenance to various companies e.g. the shipping industry which included repairs as well as S A Shipyards manufacture of new yachts and tug boats, sugar mills (mill hammer manufacture and repairs as well as mills roll resurfacing and other consulting to the Mills), timber processing industry (involved in Mill repairs), structural engineering companies, tyre manufacturing industry, maintenance - Iscor, Newcastle. I have also been in an advisory / consultancy capacity to companies on the selection of steels and welding consumables in the problem steels repairs, supplying of consumables to the Petrochemical industry. As far as student training for Welders is concerned, I have facilitated, assessed and moderated on the training of students from the first module to passing their trade test. I am presently awaiting my Moderator certification from NAMB (National Artisan Moderation Board), as well as my Inspector's certification from Chieta as an inspection authority for the training centres throughout KwaZulu-Natal. My passion is to hand over my knowledge to students in order that they can build a future for themselves. I am hard-working, dedicated and of sober habits.
