With nearly four years' experience working in the Customer Experience research and CEM software industries, my experience includes implementing, facilitating and supporting Voice of the Customer and Customer Experience strategies, as well as various Employee Experience initiatives. Through data analysis, research, subject matter knowledge, and software understanding, I've assisted Smoke CI and its clients in their journeys towards customer-centricity. In addition, I provide regular training on our in-house software and I'm responsible for eLearning content development. Internally, I've worked closely with senior leadership to cement and verbalize our cultural pillars, develop our own employee experience and business relationship surveys and most dear to my heart; I took the lead in the introduction of our very own employee recognition instrument, fondly known as CELEBRATE. I find great meaning and value in helping others grow and this shows in my previous work experience as a teacher. During that time I was exposed to adult education, high school education and foreign language teaching, both in South Africa and abroad, in Japan. I've previously delivered personal classes one-on-one and this proved extremely rewarding not only for me as the tutor but also for my students. My true passion lies in words and their invaluable worth and I find great enjoyment in narratives and stories of all kinds. As a result, I'm talkative and charismatic - perhaps even slightly eccentric by some standards. I enjoy a good laugh and love being able to entertain a room or captivate an audience, be it as a trainer, facilitator, report presenter or as the host of internal social events.
