My name is Jordan Downs, I was born in Johannesburg, then went to Hilton for Highschool in Durban and studied sound engineering afterwards in Cape Town at SAE for a further 3 and a half years. I am a goal driven person with an impeccable work ethic who uses creative and innovative ways to perform tasks. I am a person of passion and believe that whatever I work with should contain some value and interest to me allowing me to enjoy my work as well as put time and effort into it. I am very ambitious with what I want to achieve and where I want to be in life giving constant motivation. All my focus prior to finishing university has been on furthering my education but I am at the point in my life where I need to progress in my professional career. I have been making music and using softwares since 2014 creating personal projects and completing assignments for university. During my studies and presently I work at a studio in Stellenbosch called MCK Records where I've learnt production, mixing and mastering techniques as well as the occasional live sound set-up.
