I would like to apply for a graduate/internship or a Trainee position at an organisation that is committed to being a responsible corporate citizen, striving towards world class business excellence where employees work in a supportive environment. I’ve completed a Bachelor of Commerce – Supply Chain Management Degree and a ****@*****.*** Imports, Exports and Logistics Management. I’ve attached my academic transcripts as evidence of my desire and potential to learn. I have basic admin experience that I gained while I worked part-time to pay for my studies. l learnt the importance of accuracy, how to prioritse tasks, work to deadlines and relate to people from different backgrounds during this period, it was however not Supply Chain related. During my years of studying complex quantitative modules, I have had to be detail orientated in order to succeed, my interpersonal skills were developed during group tasks and also during seasonal work. End User Computers and Information systems were core modules for B Com, and, I taught myself SAP Basics on-line so I am confident that I will satisfy a requirement for computer literacy. Although I did not major in finance, my quantitative and qualitative skills have been developed through modules which included Business Mathematics, Financial and Management Accounting, Statistics and Forecasting. The Import, Export and Logistics Management course from UCT covered the Global Trade environment, Planning and implementing Transportation Strategy, Insurance, Financial Risk Management, Incoterms, Pricing and Costing strategy and International Trade Legal aspects etc, which will enable me to comfortably work in and Import/Export Environment. I would, therefore, really appreciate an opportunity to gain relevant, practical, work experience in my chosen profession. I would like to assure you of my best at all times, and commit to taking responsibility for my self-development. I look forward to a favourable response. Kind Regards Joshua Stevens
