Juan-Martin Jordt (31), was born and raised in Potchefstroom. He became synonymous with the entertainment industry while at school, and followed through on his passion from a young age. He kicked off his modelling career at the age of 13 with various ramp/stage and catalogue modelling. At the age of 17, Juan-Martin, represented South-Africa at the World Championship of Performing Arts in Los Angeles, after winning the Grand Champion award 2005, at the South-African Championships of Performing Arts. He enrolled at the Performing Arts Lifestyle Institute back in 2007, Pretoria and successfully completed his courses in both TV, Film and Theatre. He continued with stage and theatre productions and short film work, as a semi-professional. Juan-Martin was selected as a Top 50 finalist for Mr South-Africa in 2014. He is also a qualified Financial Advisor, and in 2015 pitched and produced a programme, to host for Urban Brew Studios for their ED Channel. The show and content was approved and production commenced. The show unfortunately was cancelled, due to a lack of advertising funds. The programme was known as “#moneyselfie”. In 2016 Juan-Martin moved to Cape Town and joined Hashtag Radio, after a successful audition and hosted and managed content for his own show “#OnTheRedCarpet”. He continues with his involvement in the Performing Arts industry and is passionate about youth development. He continues his work as a Radio Personality, Model, MC and Host of many a show! Juan-Martin is more known for being one of the 8 hopeful hosts for The Search: E! Host South-Africa, which aired early in 2017 on DSTV’s E! Entertainment Channel: 124.
