I have been committed to working against inequality since my childhood, which was spent observing the differences and similarities between post-apartheid South Africa and New York. Working largely around issues of migration and displacement, my professional and personal experience continues to center on working with and for vulnerable people to improve, design, and realize services and systems that respond to the range of their needs. My experience in the humanitarian and development sectors have transitioned towards an exploration of creative writing, generational healing, and narratives of trauma, which I hope to explore in my own work and through a post-graduate degree.
