Throughout his 17 year tenure in the financial industry he has held various positions spanning across multiple disciplines namely; Strategy, Operations, Business Development, Marketing, Sales, Advisory, Call centers, Relationship management, Account management, Income and Balance Sheet Management, Product Management, IT and Customer Experience to name a few. He held the position of CEO of FNB Premier Banking from June 2016 – Oct 2022 and has since been instrumental in the strategic repositioning of the Premier Customer segment in the FNB continuum (as an entry level private banking offering). Furthermore, under his leadership the team has maintained and widened the gap of being the Leader in Market share for that income segment at 33% Market Share. He holds vast experience through his tenure in the financial Industry having spent 3 years as the head of Cash Investments for Private banking at FNB managing a deposit book of ±R330bn and was crucial in making FNB the No.1 in Retail Household Deposits Across South Africa. His understanding and experience of the technology landscape has seen him play pivotal roles in the Self Service Channels and furthermore leading various IT Development teams in building core Banking platforms. Thereafter he had a small stint in Standard Bank Group before venturing out into business and transformation consulting.
