I’m currently working as a Content Management Systems Specialist for a mid-sized consultancy specialising in business performance improvement in the manufacturing and supply chain industries. I’ve gained extensive experience in managing exceptionally large volumes of web-based content using Madcap Flare, a specialist content management tool. I’m also a certified MadCap Advanced Developer and was invited to facilitate a workshop at the annual Madcap Conference in San Diego, USA in 2017. Broadly speaking, my current role entails coding and delivering digital content in a variety of formats for different platforms. Other skills include content migration, development of technical processes around (machine) translations, and online learning systems. Further responsibilities include training up new incumbents in my department and managing innovation projects. In fact, I first and foremost regard myself as an innovator and colleagues (past and present) will attest to the fact that I often ‘break’ a system and customise it to suit the needs of my employer.
