I began my working career with Standard Bank in 1983 and was tasked with a variety of roles in many departments within the branch network. After spending approximately five years in the branch network, I was transferred to the Standard Bank Head Office where I performed various roles in the Information Technology environment. These roles ranged from Research and Development, Business Analysis, IT Support, Service Desk Support, Service Level Management, Service Desk Management, Relationship Management as well as Project Management. I was employed by Standard Bank for 27 years and finished up performing work as a Senior Project Manager on multiple projects. I also fulfilled the role of a Business Analyst when required. I worked at T-Systems for a period of a year as a Senior Project Manager completing several Infrastructure projects for Transnet, MAN, Fiat, Consol and the Number Portability Company. In 2021, I performed the role as a consulting Project Manager (and line manager) for Baraka IT Consulting, working at The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) on various projects. When the contract ended, I continued for work for Baraka IT Consulting which involved projects for the City of Tshwane as well as the City of Johannesburg.
