My background includes having experience in Telecommunication, Financial/ Investment, Real Estate and Higher Education and Training sector. I have been fortunate to occupy roles which where both strategic and operational in nature within the HR space. Some of my key functions included being part of Labour Relations Forum, Employment Equity; Transformation committees and various other HR committees (recruitment, learning and development). I have held an advisory role to senior management, and college council forums regarding HR and Labour relations matters affecting the organisation. I have been actively involved in developing Human Resource policies and procedures handbook, and a Management manual. I have extraordinarily strong Generalist operational capabilities. I have worked specialist in Labour Relations which has equipped me with in-depth knowledge of the various Employment laws (BCEA), Labour Relations Statutes and well-developed CCMA experience. I have experience in working in a multi-national and reporting into a matrix structure, in this role I was exposed to the recruitment of foreign national. I have a Postgraduate in Labour Law, BA Psychology, Coaching Certificate. Currently I am a 1st year Masters student (Executive Business Coaching) at Wits.
