As you will notice in my resumè attached I have gain my certification in seamanship in 2018 in steward and deckhand, I was fortunate enough to commence my career in this industry doing daywork, proceeding to a 2nd Steward position and then running a interior team of four as Chief Steward. Before this I had 3 years of Aviation operations where I had domestic, International , charter and VIP airline experience. From starting off as junior to running a team of five, facilitation in service and grooming training inclusive of silver service, gaining 5 star world wide service training, attaining American hospitality certification for guest relations, managing a team of 25 Cabin Crew and 18 Pilots and personaly handling Royalty and celebrities to their every needs and wants. Started my career as a educator where I completed my four year bachelors in education for tertiary education and special needs education. I feel I am suitable for the advertised role as I have extensive experience in hospitality inclusive of yachting. I pride in my work and ensure that team work makes the dream work and ultimately one wants to ensure that the leaders workload is easier to spend time to focus on he/her role. I have operated in confined environments alongside multilingual, multicultural and multiple personalties. I have a personality that gets along with everyone as I respect my role and those around me, starting from the bottom has never been a problem for me as you always have the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills and that is one of my passions and that is to never stops learning. I can fluctuate between family style service and silver service, I have a fine eye for detail in the work that I do. I am able to follow instruction and work within the procedures and policies of the company. I am easliy motivated and take the time to motivate those around me too. I have been told I have a keen eye for the needs of guests/customers as I for tell their needs and requirements before they mention it, I go the extra mile and excellent service recovery should everything not go as planned. I have served different meals from hindu to kosher to children’s meals and vegan etc. Each of these guests have a different requirement to how their personal service should be conducted and I am knowledgeable in that. I have cocktail/ floral and interior decoration as passions and spend most of my time envisioning setups of tables and environments.
