Hi there, Thank you for taking a look at my profile. My name is Kyra and I work as a journalist for Media 24 in Cape Town. I love what I do and feel incredibly fortunate to work in a diverse, engaging industry that's constantly redefining itself to remain relevant in a digital world. If anything I'm constantly learning, and I can't complain about the lovely view I enjoy over the harbour either. I have been trained as a multi-media journalist, which means that I am comfortable generating content across a multitude of platforms. I believe in thorough research, clean text and beautiful design. My daily tasks include writing, editing, conceptualising story ideas, conducting interviews and managing certain elements of my publication's social media platforms. Although my job title classifies me as a journalist, I am a writer first. I'm inspired by the art of effective communication. Isn't that what we're all trying to achieve every day?
