As a young and motivated individual, I am extremely interested in applying for Digital Social Media Strategist/Coordinator. Due to COVID19, I could not continue working at Spitfire Inbound. In March2020 I completed my National Certificate Advertising 7: Digital Marketing Learnership studies and obtained my Certificate Digital Marketing through Red & Yellow Creative School of Business This has given me a range of practical capabilities that will meet the needs of this role. While completing my Digital Marketing Learnership, I was doing my practicals at Social Local and Spitfire Inbound, where I gained my work experience as a Digital Social Media Coordinator. My responsibilities in this role included: Daily community management and monitoring of our various social media platforms. Creating monthly content plans for different brands. Manager content calendar. Social media strategy development. Community manager for various pages on various social media platforms. Creating content for various brands. Scheduling content across various social media platforms. Creating reports for different brands. Requesting briefs from clients. Planning, implementing, and monitoring companies Social Media strategy to increase brand awareness. Improve marketing efforts and increase sales. Monthly reporting. Manage multiple demands. This position has given me key employability skills while also allowing me to experience working in a professional and fast-paced work environment. I have a passion for social media because it is an effective tool for connecting people, and I am an inherently social person. I enjoy communicating and developing positive relationships with consumers of different backgrounds and thrive when executing social media campaigns – regardless of the target demographic. I am confident that my abilities and experience in the world of social media will allow me to perform excellent work as the Social Media Coordinator.
