I have a history spanning almost two decades in Events and Marketing. After completing a degree in Public Administration, I secured permanent employment as a Promotions Assistant at Sixth Avenue Shopping Center this marked the beginning of my love for marketing and events. I was then employed at The Boardwalk Casino and Entertainment Centre in September 2000 as a Guest Relations Officers where I was part of the on the ground opening team. I conceptualized, initiated and coordinated all promotional events to the retail segment. In 2009, I became a Promotions Coordinator at Algoa FM. In the 5 years spent at Algoa FM; my role included the planning, implementation and coordination of all large- scale station events and promotions. I managed the stations trade exchange and sponsorship's. In 2013 I was appointed as Regional Trade Marketing Coordinator at Famous Brands Eastern Cape, here I gained experience in the FMCG market. My achievements here included aligning brands in the Famous Brand stable with events in the province many of these brand partnerships are still in place today. In 2016 I joined the Event Sales Team at AW Events where I coordinated events for various local and national brands.
