My professional background extends to the industries of marketing, public relations and communications where I worked at both consultancy and corporate levels respectively. Here I gained invaluable experience in dealing with the internal and external stakeholders at varying levels which afforded me the opportunity to improve my communication and professional etiquette. In addition to this, I spent time as a volunteer at Hillsong Church South Africa on the church's Events Team. Here I was able to assist in ensuring the success of events such as Colour Conference, Men's Conference, Christmas Spectacular, general Sunday services for several of the church's locations as well bringing support to the hiring of the Century City venue. I also helped launch new church locations, build the Events team and towards the end, led Events teams at both Century City and the Southern Suburbs respectively. More recently I worked as an Administration Assistant in the medical and IT industry where my responsibilities included managing the daily running of a department and bringing logistical, internal sales and reception support where needed. These experiences, I believe, are just some of the positive contributory factors that I bring to any team.
