Always walks the extra mile to build a pipeline. o Accredited ISO Auditor o Fire Representative o HSE Rep RELATED EXPERIENCE Experience in the full project cycle - tendering, pre- and post-proposal development - I have been working on the Transnet NMPP Project in various capacities for Senior Management. This varied experience has ensured that I have a comprehensive working understanding of the project lifecycle approach, to the extent that I have assisted in drafting Scope of Works, compiling of Tender documents, ensuring the QA/QC checks are carried out setting up of tender clarification meeting and minutes thereof to the Tender Evaluation and preparation of award. I am currently assisting with all the logistics for the Cathodic Protection Technical Teams monitoring the design and construction development. I am also involved with our document close out and hand-over process. We work on a system called Aconex which we use to communicate all commercial and technical documents, ensuring that an accurate record is kept of all Early Warnings, Project management Instructions and Compensation Events. Advanced experience on MS Excel & MS PowerPoint - Having worked predominantly for Senior Management working with MS Excel and PowerPoint have been valuable tools in my arsenal. I am requested weekly and times more frequently to produce various PowerPoint presentations that management use to provide detailed feedback on project progress. These presentations often required the use of graphs and hyperlinks in order to summarise findings and progress to create a summarised yet in depth understanding of what the team is trying to communicate. Currently I prepare presentations for our Monthly Progress Meetings, OPCO Meetings as well as our Bi-Weekly Construction Progress Meetings. I also prepare a Project Support Report for our Team on excel, on the various assets and send to the Portfolio Manager for final submission. Our Operations Strategy and Project Progress Meetings take place monthly. I updated all our teams’ input on the actions. Our (PSR) Project Support Report consists of the following updates monthly: Executive Summary Health & Safety/Security Schedule / Financial / Risk / Environmental / Reports Procurement Contract Admin Engineering Construction Document Control Quality Assurance & Quality Control Punch List Items Procurement /PO’s Prepare and manage reports for the OLT Team, Leadership Team (High Level) An understanding of the requirements and implications of projects: I understand the Project Body of Knowledge Book. – I have studied the PMBOK whilst busy with my MBA. I have a good understanding of our Project Execution Plan, We work according to the Scope of Work, Approved Schedule and approved budget. Follow all procedures and processes. I have previously also implemented an ISO standard filing system, all electronic to ensure all project documents are accurately maintained. Having worked on construction projects I am aware of the demanding hours that are required to execute such projects, I am also very aware of the importance of communication and budget management and the implications if these are not well managed. Effective diary management and travel planning, including international travel - I coordinate the entire Pipeline and Pump stations senior team member’s diaries, prepare travel and obtain company approvals before instructing service providers to execute and bookings. I deal with rapid schedule change to accommodate emergency Site meetings / Strategy sessions, Risk Workshops. I also currently manage on a weekly basis all the logistics for a Cathodic Protection Monitoring Team of 10 people, bring the total number of people that I arrange and assist with various travel request to approximately 20 people. A good understanding of basic accounting practices: Accounting was part of my MBA and studies, I am also involved in our costing of our current team.
