I managed and owned a successful retail pharmacy for 26 years having started it ex novo & moved from a fully manual to a fully digital set up . ADAPTED QUICKLY TO CHANGING TRENDS in procuring , selling pharmaceuticals and related health products as well as cosmetics and gift items. Attended training courses to enable me to run & man an in-house screening and vaccination clinic. Registered as a tutor and trained a number of intern pharmacists. Initially did my own bookkeeping having attended a bookkeeping course at Birnam college. Attended to HR matters regarding employment , statutory requirements be it tax certificates UIF & WCC.L after even warning sessions & also disciplinary http://www.******.*** had an excellent rapport with my staff. Before the introduction of formal pharmacy and pharmacist assistant courses I ran my own in house. I believed in having well prepared & informed staff at every level. I stimulated and enabled upskilling of promising & able previously disadvantaged staff members. I TOOK Pride in an ethical and well run pharmacy serving the community and becoming a trusted point of, reference and sound professional advice.
