In my previous employment with companies being, National Airways Corporation, Global Aviation Maintenance and Air Traffic and Navigation Services, I have been working in the stores environment where my duties included receiving, issuing, stock taking periodically and doing investigations where there is discrepancies, sorting out damaged items, enforcing the FIFO principle. Since we also worked as a team, I made sure that before performing any task we did and still do a risk assessment and report also near misses. I also verify quantities and specifications of the delivered stock against purchase orders, as well as making sure that picked items tie-up with quantities listed in the work orders or picking tickets. Checking all equipments that are used in the stores are serviced as per the requirement of legislature.
