Luke Hutchinson has a technical foundation as an electro-mechanical engineer (UCT 2004, honours) and diverse work experience in engineering, project management, entrepreneurship and consulting. Each opportunity has developed a skill for research and development, strategy, innovation, design and essentially: engineering and project management. This is evident in his work experience. At CONCO Energy Solutions he led and managed business development and sales in South Africa and supported this on the continent. He designed, costed and prepared proposals for solar PV projects for government, commercial and industrial clients. At Canadian Solar he supported the Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer bids in terms of project management and content development. At Romano Sustainable Engineering he led business development and proposals. Most notably was the submission of four rooftop PV EPC bids for Eskom and two 500 kWp ground mount tenders for ACSA. One of these proposals was shortlisted and he managed the negotiations with Eskom's team. Strengths (Gallup 2017): * Responsibility: “Taking psychological ownership of what is said and done.
