I have expertise in linguistics, media studies, copy-editing, interpreting and translation. I have in the past taught various linguistic modules across English language structure, syntax, morphology and Sign Language. I am an accredited professional freelance copy-editor registered with the Professional Editors’ Group of South Africa. I have previously served as a trainee journalist for Successful Women Magazine and Univen radio FM. I am currently a part-time lecturer at Rosebank College (Polokwane campus) and a part-time Academic Excellence Coordinator at Tshwane University of Technology (Polokwane campus). I also sit with the executive committee of HELTASA (Higher Education Learning and Teaching Association of Southern Africa) as a voluntary membership assistant. I have also worked as a writing centre coordinator at the University of Venda.
