Good day I'm writing to express my interest in the position advertised for the Compliance Officer. I'm currently working as a Legal Adviser and Compliance Officer, registered with the Financial Services Conduct Authority and I've been in the Financial Services Industry since 2011. I'm a strong, confident, and focused women with excellent communication skills. I've previously worked as a Legal and Compliance Manager for an Insurance Company where after I moved to Cape Town and joined Masthead in 2015. I gained my compliance experience in both Category I and Category II by acting as an external compliance officer for 86 FSPs. In 2018 I started my own consulting business, providing Legal Advice, Risk and Compliance consultations and I act as a Key Individual on Two FSPs for succession and business continuity. Due to Covid-19 repercussions, several companies have been forced to close down, which has led to some of my clients closing their businesses.
