Mamokgethi has 12 years in communications, media commentary and analysis, research and writing experience in the mining, public policy and industrial relation matters. I combine technology and socio-economic analysis in my work, in other words, I use social media platforms that are relevant to project to ensure easy access of information by relevant stakeholders I believe how information is designed and eventually disseminated should provide context to the relevance of specific sectors (in my case extractive industry) to South Africa’s economy and its capacity to create positive social change. My areas of research include labour & development economics or public economics and the political economy of mining.
