I have graduated as Bachelor of Mining Engineering at Monash University, backed by my field experience in Mine Planning for almost 3 years. I believe my skills and experiences are well suited to a position as a Planning Engineer. Through my studies at Monash, I have learnt analysis, design and management techniques used in engineering. The course has focused on tackling real engineering problems and incorporated 24 weeks of industrial placement which I undertook with AGL. During my placement I worked alongside mine rehabilitation crew, where I was able to apply my theoretical knowledge of occupational health and safety, environmental management and risk management. In addition, my conceptual and analytical skills when assessing complex technical issues and my ability to demonstrate independent judgment were proven. I currently work at Hexagon Mining, the company that owns MineSight software. This software is used extensively for mine planning and design. My job title at Hexagon Mining is “Mine Planning Engineer” and I carryout responsibility in assisting client with STP and LTP mine planning and implementations. Details of my current role are highlighted in my CV and on my Linkedin profile http://www.******.***
